Description:
The client’s aim was to rationalise existing offsite archiving facilities to create additional storage space and introduce a new document management tracking system.
The project required extending existing archive facilities and consolidating three sites into two; made possible through the building of an extensive new mezzanine at one of the warehouses. An electronic bar code scanning system for box identification and retrieval replaced the previous manual process.
The project was completed on time and within budget, the business remained operational at all times with box retrievals being required within 24 hours by RBC personnel.
